Oil Moisture SensorThe GTI-FCS400 oil metal particle sensor is a real-time, on-line fluid detection sensor, which is mainly used to detect metal wear particles in oil. By monitoring metal wear over time, users can identify component failures at the earliest stages, reducing maintenance costs, reducing downtime, and improving operational safety. The sensor has been used in several industrial machinery scenarios, including Marine systems, wind power generation, gear transmissions, hydraulic stations and more. The application scenario of the sensor is mainly oil monitoring, but it can also be used in any non-conductive fluid medium to detect the presence of metal particles. The sensor can count, classify (ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic) metal particles in the oil of the monitoring system, and detect particle size. The sensor can detect ferromagnetic particles with an equivalent ball diameter of 40um, non-ferromagnetic particles of 150um and larger particles. The sensor uses RS485 serial digital communication protocol for real-time communication, which can provide stable and reliable data output. The GTI-FPS100 oil abrasive Particle image sensor is a high-end industrial image sensor developed by GTI for monitoring metal particles (ferromagnetic) in machine lubricants. The sensor adopts electromagnetic excitation technology to adsorb wear particles on the surface of the slide, and then adopts optical lens imaging principle and industrial CMOS camera to collect images of ferromagnetic particles in the oil. Finally, the sensor adopts specific artificial intelligence image recognition algorithm to process and analyze the size, morphology and other parameters of the ferromagnetic particles in the oil to realize real-time monitoring.
The sensor is installed in the tubing bypass in the lubrication system of the mechanical equipment, and can also be integrated into a portable abrasive detection device, which can quickly and easily acquire a picture of the metal particles flowing through the sensor. Through monitoring software and specific image algorithm processing, the metal particles in the oil circuit are counted, the particle size is confirmed, the wear type is analyzed, the trend of change is predicted, and the wear development process of the easily worn parts of mechanical equipment (such as gears and bearings) is monitored in real time. Once the wear reaches a certain threshold, the alarm function can be realized. It can effectively avoid the unplanned shutdown of equipment and the secondary damage of equipment.
